For a second, my mind started drifting.

My kind of heaven on earth. 

So now you know the reason why I don't find fireworks during our countdowns anywhere near pretty or romantic, or fascinating. Because honestly, I'm not a fan of sharing such a view with 10000 other strangers. I think the best kind of fireworks are the ones watched with the people you love - like these people in the video. 

And woah,  I love my camera. :) 85% of the above is filmed with Fuji x10, and the remaining 15% is filmed with my trusty ol' iPhone 4.

Allow me to procrastinate right now because my bananas are drying. Yes, in school, I make bananas and grapes, and baskets, and eat watermelons frantically. Sometimes I feel like bringing my own watermelons to school. 

I think the above paragraph might have sounded a little off. But it's okay, I'll regret when I'm in a clearer state of mind. 

In anycase, my memory card sounded the red alarm, so it's a sign for me to upload overdue-d photos into iPhoto and place them here because I like visuals and I like my blog, but most of the time, I don't think I have any recollection of what I type.

I really like the Chinese culture. But before you think this is inappropriate for a Christian, I think we need to have religious tolerance, as well as the understanding between Culture and Religion. :) Just my 2 cents.

It has been awhile since I last ate this, but while reviewing the photos on my computer, I caught a glimpse of the 'expiry date' tag and I wouldn't want to comment anything beyond "I'm fine."

These were so good. I ate like, 10kg of this in an hour.

Other than these, I've been rushing my work like a dog and despite that, I went down to Nat Geo's Free Pet Shop at ECP last weekend with Wedge and omgahzszxz the dogs are so adorable. I love Mongrels and I want to hug them to sleep. I took a picture of this dog called 'Big girl' and sent it to my Mom. Hehehhehehe. 

I was supposed to walk Dai xin from Gentlepaws but she was more interested in running after smaller dogs. So I left this entire chain tugging and body pushing to the expert volunteers over there since I'm like a stranger to her!

Most of these dogs pictured above are known as 'shelter dogs' because they could have been abandoned or stray previously. Some of them are also called 'Breeder dogs,' I think, simply because they were forced to procreate by the puppy mills, to the extent that they become malnourished and unhealthy and eventually abandoned. :( I mean, who cares right? As long as the retail pet shops get their oh-my-gah-so-cute puppies for impulsive or ignorant (or possibly highly annoying) buyers, all's good. 

So before you get a new dog from those retail pet shops, give these shelter dogs a chance, a home. Wedge and I are thinking of fostering some of them during holidays. Because there are times when the shelter gets too packed, and also, to let some of these bunches of love experience a homestay :)

Just last week, my cousin got married! The youngest among the 3 brothers, 老三, he wedded a beautiful young lady over the weekend. I went for his solemnization night, as well as the ceremony itself and to be honest, I concussed back home after his solemnization night, and further concussed into my abyss after the entire weekend was over. Getting married is no peanuts. He had the chance to undertake the roles of a labourer, caterer, event organizer, photographer and eventually, the Groom for a good 2 days. 

I brought my baby with me to snap photos on the second day itself because on the first day, my eldest cousin offered to lend me his Nikon D90 - and for that very moment, I doubted my Canon because my user experience with this D90 was smooth, like a Smooth Criminal.

Okay, enough of machineries, here's the Groom, who has been officially mounted on my iphone lock screen for a good week to commemorate that he's no longer a kid, but a Man to a Woman now :)

We were boxing each other before deciding to take a picture together. Apparently some things don't change :)

On the second day / ceremony itself: 

This was taken before people started swarming in. 

And the food was really good! I didn't bother much with the main course because I'm a sucker for desserts and pastries. So when I spied some people getting their briyanis, I attacked the dessert/snacks that were on the other aisle.

Of course, how can I miss out on my bread(s)?

Anyway, amidst all the eating and laughing and snapping of pictures, I saw this really cute little girl. My aunt was about to give her a kiss on the cheek and this is her preparatory face - ADORABLE! The brother was more concerned with the snacks in the goodie bag though. =/
