Sleeping solves everything.

And so it is.

Damien Rice's The Blower's Daughter contains the best lyrics for me to conclude certain phases of my life - in this case, the end of assignments which felt like the equivalent to 5 ISPs nuking us all the way to the dark side under. It wasn't a pleasant experience, but it is something that I think it was worth going through. Those 3 weeks were pretty insane. My classmates and I have no clue how we survived through, but we survived through, therefore I think we are warriors.

Anyway, for this sem's assignment, it felt like I was on a square ball of producing books after books. This sounds like a sign from nature telling me "it's time to read more, you are getting stupid" I don't disagree because I do feel that I've left parts of my brain in school, along the way home and some on my bed, and will never get it back ever again. Those small pieces of my brain, and me,

we're never ever ever, getting back together.

*crickets*

In anycase, Huiyu, Tiff and I should have taken a photo to commemorate the end of the previous hell weeks, because after too many bottles of the take five supplement, we should have had the decency to at the very least take pictures. But let's close one eye for we were all rushing home to meet the dates of our lives aka our beds.

All these photos were taken at the point where we were on the verge of losing our sanity. Of course we took more than just 3 pictures, who the heck uses photobooth and takes only three pictures!? Sorry never me.

A very rude bird.

And we slipped into comatose for the next 20 hours.

I had such a hard time crawling out from my bed on Saturday, until Zac told me that he will be fetching me in a LORRY - which eventually made me jump out from bed about 530pm, went for a quick run, bathed and look decent. All for a lorry ride, the wonders of a lorry. Although the sad thing was that he didn't allow me to sit at the back, but all's good. I sat in a lorry was alllllll that matters.

I love lorries, and the people who I was about to meet while travelling in the lorry. They have been in a good large part of my lives. I cannot think of anything significant unhappy that happened while all of us were together. Besides the fact that they are always laughing at how I seem to attract animals, everything's good, REALLY good. And one of the stranger, but lovable thing is that no matter how long have we not met each other, it's never awkward. I don't know why either. I think we're all in love with one another.

Photobombing is the norm.

This is actually how we are whenever we hang out. Such behaviour is not just a chalet-exclusive one, but rather, a natural display of affections we have for one another. Spot my corn in all of the pictures. They refused to let me devour my corn properly with all of these phototaking. Usually I would have said "CORN > YOU," but neeehhhhhh, the corn was good, but these people were better.

On SUNDAY, I decided to pop down to The Artists' Flea @ The Vault to find Zicky and also, to collect my contributor's copy of PETUA! I was so bummed by the fact that I missed the official booklaunch no thanks to school, but Zicky being the awesome Zicky kept a copy for me. :')

I AM IN A BOOK! HOW AWESOME IS THAT? :)

PETUA is a collaboration between Heartthrobproject & Visual Inconsideration on Grandmother's tales and superstitions. Anybody can contribute, but they'd only select a few stories to be compiled into a book and VI would illustrate them out. This is literally my dream combination of both words and images. And the best part? I'm part of it!

PLEASE CHECK THEM OUT AND BUY A COPY IF YOU FANCY! (just drop them a facebook msg or something :)

Official photos of the sacred book.
My cover page hehehehehhe :D
The Vault
The Artists' Flea at The Vault was really interesting - it was like, tumblr came alive. Fell in love with alot of things, such as the people there, the stuff that they were selling, as well as the interior. I have to admit that the interior caught my attention more than anything else - didn't even notice Zicky when I walked past him!

Tumblr in 3D:
DIY Shoes - checked
Dreamcatchers - checked
Barber - checked
Leather Crafts - checked
Caricature illustration - checked

International Tumblr came alive. Hahaha.

A random epiphany that I really wouldn't mind going through multiple assignments all over again if all of my endings were of such fun. Who gets rowdiness and hippie-ness all in a weekend?

Three days, two hours and fifty-nine

How much do you exactly mean to me?
If I could, I'd weigh this with no parallax error,
and tell you exactly how much you mean to me.

It's as heavy as the moon, I'd like to say.
Like an astronaut, you make me feel
As light as a feather,
As calm as the air,
As free as my thoughts would let me be.

But like good things,
They come to an end.
Three days, two hours and fifty-nine*
And then you're no longer mine.

*refers to the longest period of time that was spent on the moon.

Was it real, or was it all in my head?

I woke up to light sounds of raindrops tapping my window, tempting me with the results of a clearer, balanced mind after a good long walk in it. Thank you, for being able to dissect the many components of this brain of mind throughout these years, and eventually figure out that I need some good washes in there. I would have sprung out of bed, gave my parents some awkwardly weird excuse to leave the house in this pouring rain - oh wait, do I even need to account for that over here? The light squeeze cut short my fleeting morning thoughts and no, wait, I need to talk about the squeeze.

It was warm - the comfortable kind of warm,
the chocolate-marshmallow-drink kind of warm,

Strangely, about this warmth, is its ability to recharge from mysterious, albeit ignominious resources that I'm not exactly comfortable with. But do I really have to go through that tedious thought process of the derivation of this particular warmth that I'm perpetually obsessed with? I don't, but I did. This warmth comes when I'm absolutely drained from all the demands of this life I'm leading.

the kind of warm that makes me fall in love over and over again  - but (i hate buts), the thing is, I can't specifically tell you how I feel, yet - I would like to think 'yet' is actually more comforting instead of the abrupt ending, but let's not head there.

I felt free.

But when I took a second blink, everything turned cold.

I guess this is it.

Moles are for recognition.

My hands are always freezing because I don't like eating meat.
But recently, I felt warmth on cold windy nights. mehmehmeh.
