WE ARE FREE

(this took awhile because i was enjoying the fresh air away from my macbook)

WE DID IT. WE SURVIVED THE TORTUROUS, YET FULFILLING, BUT STILL TORTUROUS PERIOD OF FYP. TANKZ ERRBAHDY TANKZ.

Upon stepping out of the classroom, I could almost instantly hear my bed whisper,

"hello, I miss you quite terribly." </3

But here are my thanks! Thank you everyone who contributed to the survival of Lynette Lee.

Accept the love that we aren't given.

Mitran's 24th Birthday!
It's been a month! A really quick and hectic one I must say! Within this 30 odd days, the following happened:

Because

I've been so busy with school and work to the extent that I haven't had any 'me-time' in two weeks! Everything is piling up and I can barely breathe at times.
IT HAS ONLY BEEN TWO WEEKS WHAT IS GOING ON

I think I have been emitting strong negative energy to the extent that my friend had to warrant a mini roadtrip to Toa Payoh for some good heartland breakfast. So love please!

Hello there, Uncle with sexy legs.

This evening has been so very nice

Merry Belated Christmas to every living thing!!
I think we should start appreciating other forms of living things such as plants and snails and sea urchins because they have added much interest into my life of late. Well not to forget, the now extinct species of the Kings who once roamed the world - DINOSAURS. They are so old to the extent that their fossils are considered ancient. But I still love them so.

Christmas was amazing, in fact it still feels like Christmas because I had a such an amazing one. I have too many amazing people in my life and I'm so thankful I got to spend this Christmas with them. I spent the EVE EVE of Christmas with Peek!, eve of Christmas with my family, Christmas with a friend and the night at the Choo's residence and the day after playing touch and eating awesome supper at ECP! On the Saturday before Christmas, three little mice - well not all three were little, scurried through the streets of Orchard in an attempt to find Christmas presents for their families!

Dinner on Monday at Peek! with everyone in Peek! was superb! The food was amazing and what's more amazing, was the companion. We had shepherd's pie, peaceful platter of sushi, ribs, popeyes and pizza!! I'm so thankful to have interned here. Besides the internship, I think the best of it was knowing everybody there. It's like a family. *beams*

Darrell looked like he was having some rash but actually, he was just getting red from cans of Asahi.

Christmas itself, Ryan invited some of us touchies to his place for an awesome meal by his Mom. It was amazing, we all love his Mom's cooking! It was good seeing his family and everybody else. We played Kinect at his place where all of us got forced to dance and it was hilarious. I. Cannot. Dance. At. All.

This is my warning face, but fail. Actually I was just trying to capture my new headband + my dua tao.

Pretty streamers that has a whole history behind it. Dad vs Son.

Yup, unglamorous much, but it was all good fun. I enjoyed it alot :) Last night after a ieuyowejkdhfasfp touch session that nearly got me flaring up because people were screaming vulgarities nonstop. I don't see that point, honestly. It's not like as if shouting vulgarities helps with the game. It's stupid and redundant, and ruins the entire atmosphere. And when somebody said it directly at me, that was it. Silent war was on for about an hour until we went to ECP for some good seafood.

Because honestly, how can I get angry for long, right? It was still a festive season afterall.
:)

Thank God for everything that has happened this year. And also that all the awesome things were happening at year end where I was school/assignment-free and had the chance to enjoy them. Feeling like the luckiest girl in the world already.

Hope your Christmas was as good as mine (or even better! promise I won't be jealous.:)

Now, we shall all wait for the new year, and embrace 2014 with open, albeit shaky arms.

X

Raced The Dead! (And we won!)

WE DID IT!

Yes. Ryan and I signed up for this run in July because we two goondoos missed the registration period for the first day, so we were whining about it. When the registration for day 2 was opened, we signed up immediately! Talk about impulsiveness - especially on my part considering I had no idea that I was gonna run with this person who literally flies. Plus it was $79.90. That's like about 20 bowls of yong tau foo.

And then throughout the next few months, we managed to brainwash a few more people to join the race with us - albeit in different waves. Just a day before the actual run, we both realised that Colin was running with his friends as well! Calvin & Jolene! We managed to sneak them into our wave - Wave 7. And there we were, protecting the lives of ours and our fellow comrades as we ran past the undead.

Lesson learnt: Running on sand will always be a pain in the butt.

This photo is in memory of our running shoes that served us well for the past year or so. We've chucked them! And now I don't have a pair which is a really bad thing because I keep procrastinating on my runs.

I WHALE GET A NEW PAIR - hopefully by this week or so!

I like our feet better! Since we chucked our shoes, we walked barefooted from Siloso Beach in Sentosa, all the way to Vivo, and then Seah Im Food Centre.

If my feet had hands, it would have given me the biggest bitch slap of my entire life.

And apparently, prolonged exposure to sun and sand killed my bleached hair. Therefore...

NEW HAIR CUT! Deserves a few SELFIEs. I can no longer flip my hair at people!

you are the calm before the storm

Hello World,

I turned the big two-three a couple of weeks back, and I'm really thankful for everything that has happened in the past year. I didn't feel any significant difference from two-two, but I learned alot throughout this entire period. I found out who I could be with, who I really like to be with, and most importantly, I realised I'm beginning to appreciate the people around me more so than ever. Which is a good thang, right? Of course.

Didn't celebrate my birthday like a shazaaaam because I'm cool like that. Hahaha, kiddin. I guess I need a little bit of getting used to if I ever do celebrate my birthday. The last birthday I ever had a celebration for, was when I was 10 years old - that young of an age where I knew nothing about the intricacies of the human brain and relationship. Other than that, I guess eating out with a few groups of people in my life was probably the best form of celebration in any kind :)

I decided to cut some bangs on my birthday because every pretty girl seemed to be having bangs. So I figured, why not? But apparently the face matters, I look like a village girl. And after snipping them, I shared my bangs with Rinnah, who incidentally looks like a china woman. All's good now, we've returned to our Singaporean Identity.

Alvin knows of my incessant love towards giraffes and dinosaurs, so he drew this onto a bag. SO LOVE please <3

Bangclub bought me a red ukulele which made it's grand debut in our Staycation x Funday at Sentosa! They surprised me with some really awesome Carrot Cake from Cedele because they reckoned that's the healthiest unhealthy cake they can find for me. They even thought of getting a footlong subway sandwich. Can I just reemphasise on how much I love this bunch of quirky friends I have? :')

Perhaps I should credit that epiphany of appreciating people, to my resolution for this year - I told myself that I needed to have proper time management, for the love of everything in my life. Because if I kept disappearing without accounting for it, people are gonna disappear from my life - people who matter! And I cannot let that happen.

Ever since last year, when George screamed on my FB, stating that I have really bad time management because our meet-ups always failed to actualise due to me cancelling out on him on the last minute, it got me thinking for quite abit. I'm quite an asshole at times, because I come up with the most ridiculously untruthful excuses just to get myself out of appointments that I don't wanna go for. I know, what a bitch, lynette, what a bitch.

So this year, maybe my desire to not be an ass has made me appreciate people more.

Thanks guys, you guys make my world go round :) I really wasn't expecting much because it was a Monday, but you guys are so amazing! Cannot love you all enough.

.x.

Lo and behold, Fun Day arrived, I was late because I decided to skip the front part by meeting Victoria at Vivocity for some breakfast love. Bangclub decided to book a room at Siloso Beach Resort, and we pretty much went downhill in an uphill manner.

Really don't know how can I ever live without them in school <3

I love trees, especially when my friends are attempting to throw me into the sea - I love trees even more.

Finally collected my race pack for Race The Dead - something that I look forward to, and yet have been quite troubled with for quite sometime. I'm not exactly the fast one you've seen around, and here I am, all clever and ignorant by signing up with one of the most fastest person in my life.

不θ‡ͺι‡εŠ› - that's me.

And we finally had Quiznos with my Broccoli Cream Cheese Soup which was amazeballs *sings.* I was dead tired after queuing for the race pack, and somebody was getting all angstypantsy because we queued like centipedes under the hot sun, so we decided to just succumb to my craving for Quiznos. :)

Quiznos is so love please. Even though they seem to have shrunk the amount of my Broccoli Cream Cheese Soup, it's okay, I'll still forgive them because they make really amazing subs.

I can't remember what each of us had. But it's Quiznos!

Omg look at that cheese yo. *meltz*

We both realised that we have been hanging out every Saturday because we are just too zo bo - which I agree. Nobody really knows how zo bo we are, and somehow I think we should be thankful that he lives in the west and I live in the east so the only common area to hang out after touch would be central/town. If not, I think every Sat would be like adventure day for us.

Then, the following Saturday was Jo's Wedding!!! :) I'll put up more pics in the next post because I think it deserves a post on it's own due to its overwhelming amount of love.

May this precious memories last a lifetime. :) xo
