Siam Land

hello Thailand! I missed you so!

It's such a good feeling to be back here - despite the protests and all that. I realised that I've yet to revisit any previous vacation spots, except Thailand.

I really love it here. I don't know why but I just love Thailand. I love how the cables add a little chaos to the clear skies. And how the cars on the road rarely honk at people. And how you can literally talk to anybody and not get snubbed at. Sometimes, living in the city with everything at reach, and the need to be neat and proper gets on my nerves. I just want to punch some walls and jump into a hole.

BKK Withdrawal Symptons

And I have reluctantly arrived home from BKK, about one week ago. I couldn't find the mood to do anything else because the next and following day, was a test bomb that we have all been dreading for. I mean, how could you throw 3 tests to this group of students who went BKK for an educational trip immediately after landing!? Plus, it's BKK, how to study in BKK you tell me. I tried to study la, but it was a major failure to the extent that we were watching Titanic dubbed in Thai and we recreated the entire story plot, alongside with really awesome pizza because none of us understood any Thai.

#badasses.

Through the trip, I met really awesome people. I was almost physically and emotionally alone when I went for the interview and got so elated when I saw Alvin's name in the list. BUT HEY, I came back knowing the entire group of GD students (who are really MORE than awesome), and this other VP guy who is retardedly awesome too. I roomed with Rafika and she makes me laugh with her princess antics every single day. Found another 4 members - Jiahui, Dinah, Doogie and Alvin, and we formed BKK Diaries 2013. There were like PinPin, PunPun, TukTuk and TumTum. And through the most boring part of the trip, we managed to excitify it with really stupid antics that we were all game on for! I also thought that we all got close because we were in a foreign land, and besides the lecturers, we only had like the few of us to look out for. BUT NOPE, BKK is a magical place and we were all magically influenced.

It was a magical week in BKK. :)

I'm so thankful to have met these people even though we come from everywhere in the world. There was just something special in this group of people which makes me really warm and fluttery all the time I see them. Hehehhe.

Can't stressed enough how blessed I am to have meet some of these people in my course of year two. :) This trip made me see the best in some of the people. <3
