And so it is.
Damien Rice's The Blower's Daughter contains the best lyrics for me to conclude certain phases of my life - in this case, the end of assignments which felt like the equivalent to 5 ISPs nuking us all the way to the dark side under. It wasn't a pleasant experience, but it is something that I think it was worth going through. Those 3 weeks were pretty insane. My classmates and I have no clue how we survived through, but we survived through, therefore I think we are warriors.
Anyway, for this sem's assignment, it felt like I was on a square ball of producing books after books. This sounds like a sign from nature telling me "it's time to read more, you are getting stupid" I don't disagree because I do feel that I've left parts of my brain in school, along the way home and some on my bed, and will never get it back ever again. Those small pieces of my brain, and me,
we're never ever ever, getting back together.
*crickets*
In anycase, Huiyu, Tiff and I should have taken a photo to commemorate the end of the previous hell weeks, because after too many bottles of the take five supplement, we should have had the decency to at the very least take pictures. But let's close one eye for we were all rushing home to meet the dates of our lives aka our beds.
All these photos were taken at the point where we were on the verge of losing our sanity. Of course we took more than just 3 pictures, who the heck uses photobooth and takes only three pictures!? Sorry never me.

A very rude bird.![]() |
I had such a hard time crawling out from my bed on Saturday, until Zac told me that he will be fetching me in a LORRY - which eventually made me jump out from bed about 530pm, went for a quick run, bathed and look decent. All for a lorry ride, the wonders of a lorry. Although the sad thing was that he didn't allow me to sit at the back, but all's good. I sat in a lorry was alllllll that matters.
I love lorries, and the people who I was about to meet while travelling in the lorry. They have been in a good large part of my lives. I cannot think of anything significant unhappy that happened while all of us were together. Besides the fact that they are always laughing at how I seem to attract animals, everything's good, REALLY good. And one of the stranger, but lovable thing is that no matter how long have we not met each other, it's never awkward. I don't know why either. I think we're all in love with one another.

Photobombing is the norm. |
This is actually how we are whenever we hang out. Such behaviour is not just a chalet-exclusive one, but rather, a natural display of affections we have for one another. Spot my corn in all of the pictures. They refused to let me devour my corn properly with all of these phototaking. Usually I would have said "CORN > YOU," but neeehhhhhh, the corn was good, but these people were better.
On SUNDAY, I decided to pop down to The Artists' Flea @ The Vault to find Zicky and also, to collect my contributor's copy of PETUA! I was so bummed by the fact that I missed the official booklaunch no thanks to school, but Zicky being the awesome Zicky kept a copy for me. :')
I AM IN A BOOK! HOW AWESOME IS THAT? :)
PETUA is a collaboration between Heartthrobproject & Visual Inconsideration on Grandmother's tales and superstitions. Anybody can contribute, but they'd only select a few stories to be compiled into a book and VI would illustrate them out. This is literally my dream combination of both words and images. And the best part? I'm part of it!
PLEASE CHECK THEM OUT AND BUY A COPY IF YOU FANCY! (just drop them a facebook msg or something :)

International Tumblr came alive. Hahaha.
A random epiphany that I really wouldn't mind going through multiple assignments all over again if all of my endings were of such fun. Who gets rowdiness and hippie-ness all in a weekend?
