Spinsters aside, ahem. This year has been ahmazing, with the exceptions of a few hiccups here and there. No thanks to people who created them, but yet at the same time, thanks for creating a good pile of shit to represent yourself. You have succeeded in adding your name, to this list of people that I swear I will never ever become:)
But on a much positive, and a lengthier note, there are these groups of people that I'm insanely thankful for. Be it in school, or outside of school. Literally, they're like this invisible net right above the ground, preventing me from further harm such as me killing myself over the non-responsive softwares and sudden waves of emotions in the middle of the night. Late night conversations about life and death and everything inbetween. Basically, they made me feel like 'happy kid' is my middle name. Woah. So much love for them. *thankful face*
And of course, there are like a bunch of people that I haven't met for way too long. Not that they're not important of course. My inability to manage my time properly is probably one of my biggest pet peeves upon entering a design institution, because I can get so submerged and attracted to inanimate objects (ie: computers, books, teas, cookies) to the extent that I feel like I'm the only one left in this self-initiated apocalypse - and the worst part? I'm totally cool with that. #nerdkid4lyfe.
Pataboooooom. Raymond, Ben, Braudon and I pretended to be International Students for this school event. We went straight from school, so Mathisha and I were in jeans and all those casual stuff. But then again, not like I'd wear some bodycon dress - even if I had the time to change. The bouncer at Butterfact wanted to snip of my lego watch while laughing at it. He laughed when I entered, and laughed when I left. This is how friendships are formed.
Greg: hey guys! *WHEEEEE*
Eugene: I hate MRTs. They take forever. I would rather ride my horse.
Me: HAHAHAHA GREG!!!!
Mathisha (behindcam): hey guys, take picture!!!! lyn, can you set it to the warm mode?
Our typical convos.
Greg just landed off the ship. One of the Titanic Survivors.
And yeah, Mathisha, Greg, Eugene and I went for the Titanic Exhibition. <3 They are probably the only ones that will entertain my stupidity. I mean, just look at the photos above. We were having fun with all those walls, snapping pictures away.
Classmates on our Final Day of Presentation :)
A failed attempt to cheer someone up because the reply was "you dolled up?!"
We are damn coool la! Met for food and couldn't decide on anything to eat. So we ate at soup spoon, flew to xingxingqian for dessert and photobooth. Took pictures to compensate for not taking pics since forever <3
Can't believe I went out late in the night to Pasar Malam, and played Donkey and Snap with Junhong, Zhirong and Clinton. We realised that when we were younger, the card on the right was not named, but in this 'new version' that we bought off the Pasar Malam, it says "Ice Cream Man." And "Hoeing'' sounded perfectly normal when I was 10 years old - but just not now. HAHAHA.
Usually, I'm always lamenting about the sadness of humanity (which is still very prevalent), and I fail to look at the brighter side of life because I get so warped up in all these depressing realisations of something that I can only do so little to change - to the extent that I feel like giving up. But then again, on days when the glass is half full, I realised that I've been so blessed in every aspect.
So here's to an awesome summer, and another long year ahead ;)
