Eh wah.

Just about a week ago, a couple of friends and I had to pull an overnighter in school because we had to compete in a 48hour challenge. I say 'had to' because we really had to. - like had to. Our lecturer booked a classroom but she forgot about the most important thing, which is the AIR CONDITION - so we practically died from heat exhaustion in the wee hours of the morning.

But I guess I was more pissed about the fact that I packed my jacket to combat the avalanche temperature of the night, but had only wore it for less than an hour. Bringing jackets to school is a huge thing because at the ripe old age of 23, we see it as a chore. It's a tad bulky, it takes up space and usually, the prints don't go with what I'd wear. So I get really cranky about it.

Quite similar to our perception of umbrellas - like why do we have umbrellas anyway? I know it shelters us from the sun & rain. But it seems like it's always not raining when I'm carrying one, and raining when I'm not carrying one. So why do we subject ourselves to such hope when it seems like life is making a fool out of all of us?

Yours truly, Cindy, Eslyn, Shumin, Huiyu, Amanda

Oh, no wonder I felt like we're dying from heat exhaustion. Look at the things we do to cope with stress. Sometimes I think design kids are too amazing.
