2012 in pictures.

Time flies. It's that time of the year, again. I don't whether should I be happy about the fact that time is going by really fast, making each day less torturous than ever, or that time is going by too fast for me to carpe diem (or how some of my friends would say it "I have no time to carpe the damn diem."). Oh well. Carpe the damn diem.

This year has been amazing, well, let me start off with the good stuff first, for we humans should really appreciate all the stuff that's going on in our lives. No wait, I think I wouldn't even remember that bad shit that happened. So, reflecting now, it seems like this year went well. This is my year, in a rough chronological manner. & I hope yours was well too.

1. Welcomed 2012 with these people of 9 years then.
Met up after working at Tangs on a New Year's Eve because we are awesome people. And then we crashed this party at ACM because we're that cool - we don't pay for parties. We played this meme drinking game that practically had me drinking at every box because apparently, I haven't accomplish much in life.
2. Party People.
These bunch of people made Christmas 2011 really awesome because I was working at Tangs with them, where I got paid for laughing and being nice with people on a festive occasion. There was the humming of Mission Impossible tunes and Korean dances to follow. Plus I met a really cute Japanese little boy, with a very cute and pretty Japanese little girl. Not that I like working in retail, but the people you work with, and when you work, really matters alot.

Soooo thankful!

And this was after new year's where we were working full shifts for like 3 days straight.

3. Chinese New Year at Grandma's.
It's something I do every year, but I love heading back to the village, rural side of the life where all that matters is whether have you fed the chickens and animals at the farm. Such a life wins any one of yours hands down. And everything there is legit vintage, retro styled - I couldn't ask for more! If I could, I'd bring friends over, but then again, I'm not very good in mixing two different groups of people together.

4. NatGeo Animal Adoption
It was my first time going for an adoption drive, and this was located at ECP. I went with WJ, in the midst of my projects and assignments and woahhh, for a moment, I was in animal haven, and I really didn't want to leave empty handed without a dog. ALL kinds of dogs were there, visiting, and some hoping to be adopted. I hope they really got adopted. If I ever get a dog, I'll most probably never leave my house. Friendships will be over but it's okay, I have my dog. ^_^

5. Act yige Tourist
I acted as a tourist and went around this little red dot, snapping photos and trying to remember things that happened when I was younger, places that my parents brought me to - in the comfort of strollers and their arms. I had a good me-time, despite the fact that it was raining cats and dogs! But hey, some of the pictures don't even have the slightest tinge of 'singapore' in it.

6. I found a Ring that I have no recollection of.
And I affectionately named it 'Ackky,' in a tribute to my 2D animation cartoon character - a class that I'm thankful that I took, but I absolutely hated. WELL.... let's just say I'm training on my patience.

7. Donkey
Epiphany time! ZR, JH, Clint and I went for Tauhuey just 2 days before my submission. And we decided to reminisce some past of ours by playing donkey. BUT NO PAST WAS REMEMBERED, FOR IT IS NOW TAINTED AFTER WE PROCESSED THESE 2 CARDS WITH OUR CURRENT BRAINS.

8. Adventures of my Curtains.

9. Snippets of the end of year one.

10. Le DIY Ombre Hair that I had for a good 9 months.
T'was fun while it lasted.

11. Titanic Exhibition
Went to the all-hailed Titanic Exhibition at ASM with Mathisha, Greg and Eugene, and it was quite possibly the coolest and happiest thing I went to this year. I miss them already. They gave us a boarding pass each when we 'boarded' the ship, and it contains legit details of the people who boarded the ship on that fateful day. Apparently, I'm a peasant and married with 5 kids. My husband survived, and I of course, died.  My kids grew up with no mother.

12. Georgee Porgeeeeeeee!
We have the tendency to meet approximately 4 times a year - which is usually the start and end of a semester. I have 2 semesters a year, and this was, I think, nearing end of Y1S2 where we decided to meet for soup and coffee. What's special about this is that we haven't seen each other for the past 2 years. So this was quite a first, I'd say.

13. My take on reminiscing my past.

14. Video Production
Helped Mathisha to film something about friends and colors, and we got down and dirty - literally, with bottles of acrylic paint. But we had so much fun! Lauz <3

15. My chef skating buddy, then.
Before school totally absorbed the whole of us, WJ and I used to blade often. This one of those moments where I threatened him to help me pose for a school project. HAHAHA. Not threaten la, plus those socks were clean! See, they're folded properly still.

16. Pataboom
This is chronologically incorrect, but it happened somewhere along these 12 months. Butterfact for this school event, but Mathisha, Greg and I were in sneakers, and other girls were hotstuphs in body con dresses and sky high heels. I was in jeans, chucks and a cropped aztec singlet. awyeahhh.

17. Leel's farewell - of which I didn't take a pic with her say what.
This is Marian, my biker chick with does ballet and rugby. Need to meet her because she's like somewhat a sister from a different set of parents.

18. Starts well with "Alcohol" too.
'Nuff said. But can I just add in, "with awesome company"

19. Andy Warhol Exhibition
With Mr Porge because we had to fulfil our 'meet 4 times a year' quota. Hahaha, no la. This was before the start of year 2! It was quite impromptu. Plus Warhol likes glasses like the one George wore, so I guess they're a match made in heaven. We had fun in the museum with a fake photobooth that gave us PASSPORT style photos instead of the hollywood kind. #wtfi'msohideousinit. WHY the heavens would we want passport style photos in a museum exhibition, I cannot comprehend.

20. Blacks Fun Touch
I miss them. Thankfully, I had the opportunity to be one of the official photographers for this event, which totally made me miss them even more. Earlier this year, I went for the season competition and siew huai told me they named this forwards-move 'lynette,' I WANTED TO CRY :(

It's quite true when Fir told me that I eventually will have to make a choice between school and rugby - and that wasn't exactly considered a choice because it's pretty impossible to give school up when I've done so much in it. But you know what, I'm so going back for next season because I'm trying to clear mods now, in order to have a little bit more free time for travel and this. Plus my arm is like a psycho, it hurts even though I'm not playing. SO might as well just play and pray for the best. Hahaha.

My BBG.

21. Year Two.
Hello empty tables of new classmates. I just wanted to show you all the macs in our class ^_^

22. Why you should never let your friends have your phone.
I shocked myself the next few morning because I forgot to change the wallpaper back. But at the very least, I woke up on time for school because of him.

23. TDKR
The thing about watching movies with them is that, no matter how serious the movie was, we will never fail to make a joke out of it after everything has ended. This was for Clint and Mat's birthday. :) Rare moments of TPT in bright colored shirt!

24. Yogi Bear 老大.
Sam came back for a few days and I absolutely miss him so much! I miss the rubbish we did in secondary school. But seeing how well he is doing in Berkeley, and the girls that caught his interest, I'm so glad he went away.

25. You know you're old
when you celebrate birthdays in a carpark, on one of your cars. :) It also shows that we're too comfortable with one another to the extent that there is no strong preference on where we should go for a good cake-cutting session

26. ET JT
Had a mission from JT to brighten up ET, his gf, my JM. Quite a success because we took the time to catch up as well. I love my JIEMUI. We had to send him off to Aussieland for a few weeks cos of NS. So this was me being a lightbulb in their relationship.

27. To throw in the faces of some people.
Wore a freaking dress for this tea ceremony and I died. I couldn't walk.

28. I don't need no insurance because I have them.
Thankful that they're still here even after 10 years. Jannie still remembers that we're gonna live together because we're gonna be old ladies with cats and dogs, and rabbits.

29. Peranakan Museum
Went on a date to the peranakan museum - FOC as sponsored by MOE because we're students! How awesome. We attempted to learn stuff initially, but eventually we went around hunting for the emboss stamps to complete our 'mini project.' We're like kids trapped in the bodies of two 22 year old females.

30. FUN WHAT DAY
The school decided to have a 'fun day' at sentosa, in the middle of my chionging of assignments. Enough said, I was annoyed so I went for 1 hour, went to the tourist shop and bought a chinese vampire badge, and went home with a box of tau sar piah.

31. Some of the angels in Year 2. :)
Don't know how to survive without them. Somebody better don't give up if not I'll wish for all the birds to crash your head while you're walking.

We were getting our cray-on

32. AND GOODBYE YEAR 2 SEM 1
You were pretty sucky in terms of grades. HAHA. okay bye get lost. But i'll see you people in about 1 week's time! :)

34. Blood Donation!
My first time and it was good! I didn't know of my blood type before that, and I tested O positive. FREAKING HAPPY! Because Bloodtype O is always running low for it is the universal donor, but not a universal recipient. Bloodtype O can replenish all other bloodtypes, and its own, but it cannot accept other bloodtypes. I miss biology. I wish I pursued that and became a surgeon or something.

35. Tsunami in my kitchen.
Smelly water that my mom and I had to scoop out with pails because the pipe was blocked. Horrible, but one of a kind experience. Hahaha.

36. Got an internship:)
And still interning...

37. Chalet with tensies.
Too much fun in a night, with cycling, fishing, catching of shiny brownies, and screaming our heads off. Sometimes All the time, I wish cockroaches went extinct instead of dinosaurs, all the damn time. People think I'm craycray cos of that, but you have no clue, NO CLUE.

38. Dogs night out.
And those without dogs, just follow. Meet Bean, Pepper and Sugar!

39. I woke up one day and decided to take this photo while brushing my teeth.

40. Meet the current state of my wardrobe.
My mom says that a tiger could hide inside and I wouldn't know. (I cleared it already, btw)

41. BATTOUSAI!
First time watching a Japanese film that was adapted from an anime and IT WAS SO GOOD. RUROUNI KENSHI GO WATCH NOW RIGHT NOW

Told you that no matter what the movie was, we will never fail to make a joke out of it. This is Jeff, with a lactating nipple that secretes 'Luo Han Guo,' doing a Himura Kenshin pose.

42. Wheel Adventure - Longboarding.
Angie and I decided to embark on this Wheel Adventure where we will try everything that has wheels, and try to master a few skills here and there. This is our third item, Longboarding. First sesh went pretty well :)

43. BOULDERING!
The last friday of the year was spent with these people, and walls. We went bouldering and had so much fun! Although the next day I couldn't even lift my arm, and Mathew couldn't open a can of drink, and Clint couldn't even clean his ass, we had fun - different, but good kind of healthy fun, which was good!

There are alot of things that I'm very thankful for, but these bunch of things and people above, have been keeping me alive on a daily basis. There are times where I feel like giving up, but these people just help me through, without even knowing that they are actually doing something. I'm really glad these people exist.

Sorry for screwing some would-have-been good shit. But some things are just better left alone. iygwim.
Sorry if you're angry at me for not replying your texts, and sorry for lying that I actually prefer calls to text because I'm lazy - but in actual fact, I just didn't want to be connected at that point of time.
Sorry for always listening to some of your shit, and when you guys ask what's in my mind, I have nothing to say.
Sorry for always MIA-ing, especially when you needed me to be around.
Sorry for not meeting y'all for dinner because I'm perpetually on a 'diet', or either that, I'm nowhere to be found.
Sorry for saying that "I wish I had a dick" because some people get on my nerves to the extent I need a dick to shut them up.
Sorry for not going to your birthdays. *sigh*
Sorry, Ma, for always wearing jeans and shorts. I know you'd like a feminine daughter. I'll get a cheongsam soon.

And before I start swimming in my pool of thoughts that might possible spoil the mood for 2013,

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!
I don't know what to wish you, but I wish you well, and happiness.
Here's to 2013! Let there be more tears of joy and happy surprises! *cheers invisible jug of beer*

Now I know why I haven't been posting year end posts.

Because some things just cannot be concluded.
