But now, look, I had to send off this really good friend of mine, this good friend of ten years and I don't think I can take it pretty well. All I can remember, is when we were in secondary two, I lied to a teacher, helping him to prove to the different teachers that he indeed had blonde hair, when clearly, he dyed it. Asshole. I sent him off in the wee hours of 10th Jan, and it felt so so so horrible. Got tears all. :(
Terrible, before leaving also annoy me about my height. Hahaha <3
This kind of feeling is really.... you all don't know one.
So before he left, we really hung out alot - which makes it even more difficult for me to let him leave. I don't know how I did it without bawling my eyes out at the airport, but I kinda teared on the way home, and pretended that I was yawning. #toogarangforthis.
Lin booked a hotel room at Gallery Hotel for all of his friends from everywhere, to gather and meet up with him as a group for the last time before he flies off. Very touching! I love the both of them alot, individually and as a couple. They have to last, they must last, they will. And as usual, Jeff stole the limelight with his fashionable lateness from work, and his Gangnam stunts.
d'awwww <3
And after all that hapz stuff in the hotel, we met for a surprise Korean BBQ at East Coast Road the next day. So the plan was to surprise ZR by appearing at the restaurant because he thinks that he'll only be eating with Lin! We got him presents from different shops, and left them with the sales assistant for him to go up to them and ask for the gift. It sounds stupid, but honestly, it's something we would do anytime. Of course Lin had a major part to play, but ZR's too smart, plus one of the SA gave away our plan by writing Chew's name on the paper bag that was meant for ZR. #seriously? Funny stuff happens every single time when you put effort in planning something.
Afterwards, we played Pepsi Cola 123, and Scissors Paper Stone! I love them too much already, I mean, where can I find people, at the ripe old age of 22, to play such games with? Where? You tell me. TELL ME LA.
Because we felt really sinful from gorging SO MUCH GOOD FOOD, we decided to redeem ourselves by bouldering again hahahaha. It's pretty addictive. The colorful rocks make the walls pretty, and the guys working there are really nice as well. Initially, we wished we went back to Kinetics Climbing, near MacPherson, but it was crazily packed, therefore we went to Onsight Climbing at Geylang, WAH, intense challenges with more routes and weird looking rocks. But at the end of it, it was SOOOOGOOOOOOOD.
Friendship is when your friend is struggling about which rock to step on, you flex muscles and do pull ups.
It was Chew's first time with us, bouldering and we're really glad that he enjoyed it. And it's been awhile since he had such kind of fun. Stop clubbing so much leh. :(
So yup, these are the long overdued photos from this year - pretty ironic since it's only the 12th day, but really, it's overdued, because it has been lingering in my head for quite awhile, and Angie was reminding me about them through whatsapp.
The Lynette before used to be damn efficient in these kind of things, nowadays too lepak already. Must maintain standards.
Here's another temporary end, and meanwhile in between, I have to reinstall and load Skype, just for ZR so that we can see each other faces (forced the group to download skype as well, and offered to give them lessons on Skype *stares at Mat and TPT), and hopefully facetime when the group visits the different household. Life's gonna suck even more without him.
Goodbyes always sound so depressing. It feels like a conclusion to a favourite drama show of yours, an end to everything that you once had. See you sounds way much better. So, I'll see you, ZR. :)
不见不散!!
